A note from your MLA
On April 19th, you put your faith in me to serve as your MLA, and I am grateful for the opportunity. It is a great honour to be your voice in Manitoba’s new government, and I will work hard every day on your behalf.
We knew that the problems caused by 17 years of mismanagement would not and could not be solved overnight. A great number of issues that face our province are far worse than the previous government ever admitted.
Within our first 100 days in office, our government has reduced the size of Cabinet by 30 percent. We’ve reduced the budget deficit by $100 million, indexed income tax brackets, and raised the basic personal tax exemption so you can keep more of the money you work so hard for. This was all done without raising taxes or creating new taxes.
All of our work cannot be done alone. Please let me know about the issues that matter most to you, and share your ideas on making our province better. My new constituency office is open at Unit 27 – 2855 Pembina Highway. I encourage you to call or drop in and discuss how we can continue to build a better Manitoba.
